More than 25 women gathered at the Surrey Nature Centre to celebrate one year of WeCircle — a space that began with a simple idea: creating a place where women can connect without pressure, expectation, or judgment.

We began the morning with a walk in nature — side by side, in conversation and in quiet reflection. The walk reminded us that growth doesn’t always need noise. Sometimes it simply needs presence.

Afterward, we gathered in circle and reflected on what WeCircle has meant over the past year.

For those who have been coming regularly, it has become a space to exhale — a place of honesty, listening, and belonging.

For new participants, many shared they were seeking meaningful connection and conversations beyond surface-level networking.

During the celebration, we honoured two women — one navigating a courageous cancer journey, and another stepping forward into renewal after years of carrying personal loss. Their strength reminded us that resilience takes many forms.

We also launched the WeCircle Online Circle, expanding access for women who cannot attend in person but still want to be part of the community.

One year ago, this was just an idea.
Today, it is a growing circle of trust.

And this is only the beginning.
